With QRTAN+, 1822direkt offers you a modern and up-to-date security procedure for online banking.

The 1822direkt QRTAN+ procedure makes it easier and quicker to process banking transactions. With this method in your online banking, you can execute orders anytime, anywhere. All you need is a PC or tablet along with your smartphone with the QRTAN+ app.

Here are the advantages at a glance:

• Your smartphone becomes a free TAN generator.
• You can quickly and easily confirm your 1822direkt online banking orders via the QRTAN+ app.
• You can issue orders even without an internet connection on your smartphone.
• Transactions are carried out on two separate channels.

This is how the QRTAN+ procedure works: After entering your order data in 1822direkt online banking, you will be shown a QR code that you decrypt with your QRTAN+ app. Simply start the app and scan the displayed QR code. The app will then display the data you entered for your review. Always make sure to check the transaction details shown in the QRTAN+ app and authorize the order within the app.

If you currently do not have an internet connection, a TAN will be displayed to you. Use this TAN to authorize the order in 1822direkt online banking.

How to activate the QRTAN+ procedure: You can activate the QRTAN+ procedure in your customer portal under "Settings > TAN > Manage TAN procedures" free of charge. Follow the instructions in the customer portal and in your QRTAN+ app to complete the activation.

The following permissions are required on your device:

• Access to the camera to scan the QR codes displayed in your 1822direkt online banking.

System requirements: We generally recommend using devices for which the manufacturer still provides security updates for the operating system.

Note on "Jailbreak": The app is not offered for devices with jailbreak. From our perspective, using jailbroken devices poses a security risk that we want to exclude for your safety during financial transactions.
